Ice Lakes Basin Summer Camping
During the summer we love to plan an epic backpacking and camping roadtrip. This one took us to the amazing San Juan mountains of Colorado where we hiked an explored for days visiting some of the areas most pristine alpine lakes. Here's where we ended up car camping one of those nights... we woke up freezing cold in this valley outside the Ice Lakes trailhead area. I really enjoyed flying my drone around this area, so scenic from above and used a top-down perspective to capture this image.
